Manchester United play Villarreal in the Champions League at Old Trafford on Wednesday night.
United lost the opening game of their Champions League campaign 2-1 against BSC Young Boys and they’ve since been knocked out of the Carabao Cup and lost their Premier League unbeaten record against Aston Villa.
There’s reason for optimism, though, because United are still level on points with Manchester City and Chelsea in the league standings while leaders Liverpool are just one point ahead – a positive result against Villarreal will ensure United regain momentum once again.
