Ansu Fati has only recently recovered from injury, making five appearances off the bench for Barcelona this month.
Yet he’s been selected for the Spain squad for the upcoming Nations League games in June.
“I have a special plan, we’re not going to take any risks,” Spain manager Luis Enrique said when asked about Fati’s role, as quoted by Football Espana.
“We’re going to see him train, he’s not going to play many minutes. It’s a return to the parameters of the team.”
