Manchester United are set to allow supporters to exchange Mason Greenwood shirts for free amid the rape and assault accusations against the striker.
According to The Sun, a club spokesperson has confirmed that fans will be able to trade the 20-year-old’s jersey for a new one with a different player’s name.
The Red Devils suspended Greenwood last week after the striker was arrested for allegedly raping and assaulting his long-term girlfriend Harriet Robson.
The player has been released on bail but the investigation is ongoing. In fact, new charges of ‘sexual assault and threats to kill’ have been added to the case.
