Manchester United have confirmed that the players will wear black arm bands to commemorate the victims of the Munich Air Disaster when we face Middlesbrough at Old Trafford.
The bands have a picture of a clock with the words ‘Feb 6th 1958 Munich’ embroidered on it.
Ralf Rangnick is expected to lay a wreathe on the pitch before kick-off, with fans expected to unfurl a banner that reads ‘we’ll never die’ in the Stretford End.

The German boss said: “This is our closest game to the anniversary of the Munich Air Disaster and, as is customary, the club will be marking the occasion ahead of kick-off.
“I have always admired how this club pays tribute every year to such a major incident in its history, and it is important that this tradition always continues because it is such a big part of the Manchester United story.
“I hope that we are also able to mark the occasion with an important victory this evening.”
