Manchester United expect to have Aaron Wan-Bissaka available for the game against Wolves with Victor Lindelof set to face a late fitness test after being substituted with injury during the draw against Leicester.
Wan-Bissaka sustained a knock during United’s win against Leeds which saw him miss the Carabao Cup win against Everton as well as the clash against Leicester at the King Power Stadium.
Lindelof deputised at right-back in his absence against the Foxes but was forced off in the second-half with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirming the Swede was withdrawn due to his chronic back injury.
Axel Tuanzebe was brought on at right-back and scored the own goal which gave Leicester a point. Wan-Bissaka trained on Monday ahead of Tuesday’s game but Lindelof was absent from the session.
Solskjaer confirmed United will assess his condition ahead of kick-off and confirmed Wan-Bissaka is set to return.
“Victor didn’t train this morning [Monday] so we’ll give him 24 hours,” Solskjaer said. “He’s still getting treatment. Aaron trained with the boys. We didn’t do a lot because there was snow and it was just about preparation training anyway. If there’s no reaction he should be available.”
United’s game against Wolves is their fourth game in 10 days with Solskjaer set to make a host of changes ahead of games against Aston Villa, Manchester City and Watford.
