- The Portuguese giants want to take the latter on loan.
According to Tuesday’s edition of Portuguese publication A Bola, Man United and Sporting Lisbon have reached a general agreement on a €70 million deal for Bruno Fernandes’ move to Old Trafford in the January transfer window.
The Portuguese giants are now exploring the loan possibilities placed on the table by the Red Devils, as per the source. United are believed to have offered Sporting the choice of four players. The options are said to be Andreas Pereira, Joel Pereira, Marcos Rojo and Angel Gomes.
Andreas is the most attractive one as Sporting consider Gomes as not experienced enough, Rojo’s wages are too high for them. As for Joel, the Liga NOS outfit are not interested in the United goalie.
United are said to be ready to let the Brazil international join Sporting on a loan deal.
