Besides, he had a personal vendetta against Bilbao’s Andoni Goikoetxea, who broke his ankle in a previous match; there were reports that the injury could’ve put an end to his career.
The mass brawl happened right in front of Spain’s King Juan Carlos and 100,000 fans inside the stadium.
