Scotty is as delighted as the fans.
When asked about captaining Manchester United for the first time in the 1-0 win over Watford, Scott McTominay told BT Sport: “For me when the manager told me it was a surreal moment. 18, 19 years here and it was a huge honour. I absolutely love this football club, it was a real honour.”
McTominay also scored the only goal of the game in the fifth minute and that was enough for the Red Devils to progress to the fourth round of the FA Cup.
Next, United must prepare to face Burnley in the Premier League on January 12.
