Mingueza believes Barca played a good game against Valencia and were good both on and off the ball.
He claims that the team did the hardest thing — manage a comeback.
The defender says the Catalans lacked luck.
“As long as we can mathematically compete for the title, we will continue to work to win points and to try to fight for the La Liga, even if it is difficult,” Oscar Mingueza said after the Valencia draw.
“We played a good match. We had very good attitude with the ball and without it. We did the hardest thing which was getting the comeback, but then we didn’t have any luck. The result was saddening.
“After the equalizer, we were looking for the victory. We all wanted to win and we tried non-stop. But it wasn’t possible.”
Mingueza has played seven matches for Barcelona this term, four in La Liga and three in the Champions League.
The Catalans currently sit in the fifth spot in the league, having gathered 21 points in 13 games. Barca have recorded six wins, three draws and four losses this term so far.
