The Liverpool forward has often been linked with a move to both La Liga giants.
Salah is open to join either side but is now focused on his performances for the Reds.
“I think Madrid and Barcelona are top clubs…,” Mohamed Salah said in an interview with AS when asked about his constant links with a move to both La Liga giants.
“We never know what is going to happen in the future, but right now I’m focused on winning the Premier League and the Champions League again with my club.”
The Egyptian’s move from AS Roma cost Liverpool €42m in 2017. He has scored 108 and set up 44 goals in 172 appearances for the Reds since then.
Asked about how much longer does he plan to stay at Anfield, the 28-year-old replied: “That’s a tough one, but right now I can say that everything is in the club’s hands. Of course, I want to break records here and, I repeat, every record in the club, but everything’s in the hands of the club.”
