Caicedo is believed to be close to sealing a Man United move.
The Ecuadorian sees himself as a ball-playing defensive midfielder.
Speaking to Marca, Moises Caicedo said: “I’m a good no.5, I move well and encourage my teammates. My reference is Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante.
“He is a great footballer and moves around the field. I dream of fulfilling the promise I made to my father: to buy him a good house and give everything that I can to my loved ones.”
Kante is considered to be one of the best defensive midfielders in the Premier League although the Frenchman’s form has dipped in recent months.
As for Caicedo, the player’s representatives reportedly remain in contact with Manchester United and the 19-year-old ‘would love to join’ the Red Devils.
