Muller also attached several photos of himself together with Lewandowski. One of them stood out – it was an edited picture in which the faces of the iconic basketball players Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen were replaced with theirs.

Lewandowski and Muller played 333 matches together and combined for 80 goals, with the Pole scoring 64 times from Thomas’s assist. It remains to be seen if Robert will find a similar partner at Barcelona.
