One of the most historic clubs in English football, Nottingham Forest have returned to the Premier League.
The two-time European Cup winners have not been in the top flight since 1999. They even spent three seasons in the third tier in the middle of the 2000s.
Now, they’ve defeated Huddersfield in the Championship play-off 1-0 thanks to Levi Colwill’s own goal in the first half.
It means that Steve Cooper’s side will play in the Premier League for the first time in 23 years. They join Fulham and Bournemouth who secured two automatic promotion spots after the regular season.
