Barcelona have just confirmed that Pedri will wear the number 8 shirt from next season.
The club did this with a smashing video of the player showing off his new kit number.

Dani Alves was the last player to wear the number 8 jersey at Barcelona, but that shirt was made iconic by the legendary Andres Iniesta.
Pedri has often been compared to Iniesta due to his swashbuckling and technical style of play.
