The Englishman will spend the rest of the 2020/21 campaign with the Hammers.
Jesse Lingard has joined West Ham on loan until the end of the 2020/21 season, both club officially confirmed on Friday.
The loan fee is reported to be in the region of just £1.5 million but the winger’s wages will be covered by the Hammers in full.
There is no option to buy on the deal, with Manchester United expecting the 28-year-old to return to Old Trafford at the end of the campaign.
The Englishman has only made 3 appearances for the Red Devils in cup competitions this season, failing to clock a single minute of action in the Premier League.
Reflecting on the transfer, Lingard said: “I’m excited, it’s another new chapter in my life. I just want to enjoy my football, get back playing again and get my feet back on the pitch.”
