Diallo officially joined the Red Devils earlier this month.
Solskjaer plans to use the Ivorian in the first team this season.
Speaking to the media on Tuesday, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said: “Amad Diallo has settled very well. He can handle the ball, he’s enjoyed training, he can make a difference in training, which is remarkable at his age.
“Some adjustment to settle into the hustle and bustle of the Premier League but I can’t see it being too long until he’s in the squad. It might be quicker than [four to five weeks], who knows?
“The players have taken to him. He’s a very good character, a polite and smiley boy who works hard. He’s doing his session, getting used to us, there’s always a period of adjustment needed but he’s settled in well.”
Diallo is set to play for the Manchester United’s Under-23s first despite working with the first-team squad at the Carrington training centre last week.
With the Red Devils lacking a natural right winger, the Ivorian could prove to be a perfect signing for Solskjaer – here’s where he would fit at Old Trafford.
