Olivier Giroud’s first half header was enough to see off Norwich as they went four points clear of Leicester and United in the race for champions league qualification.
Chelsea completely dominated possession throughout the game as already relegated Norwich saw very little of the ball but it was Giroud’s header from a perfect Christian Pulisic cross which gave them the lead on the stroke of half time.
Norwich – already relegated after their loss to West ham at the weekend – never looked like coming back into the game and Chelsea took home three points.
Up next is Liverpool in the Premier as Chelsea travel to Anfield next week looking to build on this win but before that they face Manchester United at Wembley in the fa Cup semi final on Sunday.
