Lingard will spend the rest of the campaign on loan at West Ham.
The Englishman hopes to catch Gareth Southgate’s eye with his displays.
Speaking to West Ham’s official website, Jesse Lingard said: “It’s always good to have goals and that’s one of mine, to play in the Euros.
“But for now it’s about West Ham and helping the team. For me at my age, it’s all about regular football and getting that rhythm.
“As you saw a couple of seasons ago, once I get a run of games, the goals start coming – and that’s what I want to bring to the team.”
Lingard opted to leave on loan in the January transfer window after featuring in just 3 cup games for Manchester United this season.
There is no option to make the deal permanent with the Red Devils expecting the 28-year-old to return to Old Trafford at the end of the 2020/21 campaign.
