The Barcelona boss has called the youngster up for training on several occasions already. However, the teenager is yet to make the team’s squad list.
Despite being just 18, Garrido has already represented Barcelona B, recording 2 goal contributions in 6 games.
What’s interesting, the player’s agency is partly owned by Carles Puyol and represents Barca players Eric Garcia and Arnau Tenas.
It would be nice to see Garrido included in the team’s squad list for the mini-tour in Australia next week. Let’s see if it actually happens.
