Donny van de Beek was praised by Man United’s assistant coach Mitchell van der Gaag during a training session recently.
The Dutch midfielder participated in one of the passing drills in training and his rapid distribution under pressure won over the coach.
Van der Gaag could be heard telling him: “Yes, Donny. Good work. Good work, Donny!”
Donny seems to be working really hard in the training sessions to become a major part of Erik ten Hag’s squad for next season.
Van de Beek has had a disappointing career at Old Trafford so far, but aims to change that and prove his quality under a comfortable, known system next season.
