Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has fired warning to his teammates after they successfully returned back to the top of the Premier League table.
Man United were on the 3rd position following the victories of Leicester City and Manchester City over Chelsea and Aston Villa respectively but their tight 2-1 win at Fulham catapulted them back to the top, thanks to goalscorers Edinson Cavani and Paul Pogba.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are at the top of the table after 19 league matches, with 20 matches left to fight for, Paul Pogba has warned his teammates against complacency.
“Still a long way to go! Let’s keep it up boys!! 💪🏾,” Paul Pogba shared on Instagram.
The World Cup winner has now scored two match-winning goals after his volley and worldie handed United all three points against Burnley and Fulham respectively.
“Fantastic goal by Paul [Pogba] and we had some other chances to finish the game but of course when it is just one goal and the players they put on it is going to be like heart in your mouth,” Ole Gunnar Solskjaer told BT Sport of Paul Pogba’s goal.
“He [Paul Pogba] has really come on,” Solskjaer said of Pogba’s recent displays. “He is fit, he can play in midfield and he can play wide. That is key with Paul, getting him match fit and running fit and he is at the moment. He played very well.”
