Speaking in his first interview after signing for Juventus, Paul Pogba told club media: “I want to rediscover my joy of playing football.
“I spoke to [manager] Massimiliano Allegri, [chairman] Andrea Agnelli and [director] Pavel Nedved, so I was always really in contact with all of Juve.
“My heart decided for me and I am sure that I made the right decision. This jersey is everything for me. I feel great, it’s an atmosphere I cannot define.
“Juventus gave me the opportunity to be Pogba. Now I want to give back that joy, bringing trophies to a club that deserves only to win.”
On Monday, Pogba officially put pen to paper on a four-year contract with the Serie A giants after leaving Manchester United earlier this summer.
The Frenchman turned down several renewal offers at Old Trafford, going as far as to even accept a lower salary in order to return to Juventus.
