Paul Pogba appears to be open to staying at United after Real Madrid seemingly cooled their interest in the Frenchman.
According to Tuttosport, the midfielder wants the Red Devils to DOUBLE his wages if he is to sign a new long-term deal at Old Trafford.
As per the Italian outlet, the World Cup winner wants to receive a whopping £600,000-per-week, making him the highest-earning player in the Premier League.
An earlier report from ESPN FC stated that Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola has a good working relationship with United vice-chairman Ed Woodward.
Therefore, it’s possible that the France international will remain at Old Trafford despite openly declaring his desire to leave the club for a ‘new challenge’.
