- Barca might include three players in a swap deal for Neymar.
- Todibo and Rakitic have given their ‘OK’ to PSG, as per L’Equipe.
- Tuchel continues calling Ousmane in order to convince him to join the French.
According to French outlet L’Equipe. Ivan Rakiticand Jean-Clair Todibo have agreed to join Paris Saint-Germain. Reportedly, Barcelona plan to use the two as exchange coin in a swap deal to bring Neymar back to Camp Nou.
However, another key figure in the whole transfer saga is Ousmane Dembele. The same source claims that PSG’s coach Thomas Tuchel continues calling the 22-year-old in order to convince him to join the Ligue 1 outfit. As a reminder, the two have previously worked together at Borussia Dortmund. Unlike the other two, the Frenchman is expected to join PSG on a one-year loan.
Despite the interest from the French side, Ous is believed to be determined to succeed at Camp Nou. His agent has stated several times over the last weeks that his client is unwilling to move:
“I repeat, for the 20th time, that Ousmane will stay, and will succeed in Barcelona. The income would’ve been bigger financially in Paris for Ousmane and me, his agent, but the most important thing isn’t money – it’s his career’s success,” Moussa Sissoko said.
“The problem isn’t PSG, all that matters is that Ousmane absolutely does not want to leave Barca. He’s happy there & knows what he has to do in order to succeed in this great club.
“His future in Barca will be good & it’ll be set up for him to succeed at FC Barcelona. I encourage everyone to remember this statement, and we’ll talk about it soon once again.”
As a reminder, Catalan-based outlet Mundo Deportivo reported earlier that the club informed Ernesto Valverde, Leo Messi, the rest of the captains and Neymar that the move is practically impossible because of PSG’s high asking price. However, this could just be a tactic to lower the Parisians’ demands.
