- Barca failed to land the Lyon forward and the Man City centre-back in the summer.
- The Catalans are reportedly set to return for the duo in the winter.
- Koeman has apparently not given up on signing Depay and Garcia in January.
“Now is not the moment to talk about players who aren’t here. For me, it’s not good,” Ronald Koeman said in an interview with Mundo Deportivo of Barcelona‘s interest in Memphis Depay.
“It’s true his name has come out and he’s played every game with our national team as a No 9.

“Everyone can have their opinion, but not here, and we’ll see what happens in the future.”
The Catalans are believed to have identified the Lyon forward as their ‘priority‘ target for the January transfer market as Ansu Fati is out for around four months with a knee injury.
Speaking of the Barca speculation on Wednesday, Depay said that ‘everyone would like to play‘ for the Blaugrana but he’s now focused on Lyon.
As a reminder, the 26-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season.
Eric Garcia is another target of the Catalans who is set to become a free agent next summer. Barca are also expected to make a move for the Man City centre-back in the winter but it remains to be seen if the Citizens would want to part company with him in midseason.
“Well, I don’t know. It depends on Manchester City,” Koeman said of Garcia’s potential move to Camp Nou in January.
