Cristiano Ronaldo did not have a good day on the field. He cut a frustrated figure against Southampton, struggling to find the back of the net once again.
Even when the 37-year-old looked close to scoring, he was flagged offside. Clearly, the pressure got to him as the game ended 1-1.
At full-time, Ronaldo didn’t storm off the pitch as we’ve come to expect him to do. Instead, he appeared to spit at Anthony Elanga, who was walking in front of him.
To be fair, the incident doesn’t look intentional and the Manchester United forward perhaps has the wind to blame for what happened. Nevertheless, it doesn’t look good and fans are in disbelief:
i’m sure the FA have seen ronaldo spit on Elanga. and i’m expecting a deserved punishment. that’s really unnecessary deliberate or not.

I hope it's just the camera angle and Ronaldo didn't just spit on Elanga.

This got nothing to with bad angle . You could see the spit hitting Elanga’s back & he kinda bended himself afterwards.
Worse still he didn’t apologize
