Sevilla boss Julen Lopetegui urged Anthony Martial to perform better after the latter’s underwhelming debut performance on Saturday.
Quoted by Sevilla’s official website, the boss said: “Anthony has to give us much more.
“It was his first game and adaptation is not easy, he has played little this year and he has to get into dynamics and gain minutes and confidence.”
The Spanish outfit played a stalemate with Osasuna and Martial was substituted with about 14 minutes left on the clock.
For the most part, the Manchester United loanee looked rusty and struggled to adapt to the pace of his opponents.
The Frenchman completed two of his four attempted dribbles and 33 of his 36 passes. However, he failed to get a single shot and lost the ball four times on the field.
