The left-back reveals that Diallo has impressed everyone with his work in United training so far.
Shaw says that Maguire thinks that Amad is a lot like Riyad Mahrez in the way he plays.
Speaking about what Harry Maguire thinks about Amad Diallo, Luke Shaw said: “It was interesting because Harry said to me the other day that he (Diallo) reminds him of Mahrez when he was at Leicester.

“Really quick, skilful, agility, can turn really quick, got great skills and I would agree with Harry – he does remind me of Mahrez.

“Even the way Mahrez plays now I’ve seen the qualities that Amad already has and has shown in training. Mahrez is a wonderful player so hopefully if he’s any good like him it would be great for United.”

Mahrez has scored 63 goals and registered 42 assists in 217 appearances in the Premier League and is one of the most dangerous wingers in the league. Diallo, however, is still at the start of his career – but his promising Man United debut indicated that we could see something special from him in the years to come.
