The gaffer believes Greenwood has matured more this season because of Cavani’s help.
Ole is very confident that the youngster will start chipping in with goals and assists more regularly from now onwards.
Speaking about Mason Greenwood after his heroics against Liverpool, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said: “We think Mason is going to be very important in the second half of the season.
“But it’s not going to happen by itself just because he played a good game and scored. Mason has grown, matured, and he’s been training with Edinson Cavani for half a season now.
“Whoever’s learning from a professional like him, or Bruno, that’s it. I’m very confident that Mason will chip in with goals and assists.”
Greenwood had a difficult start to the season after being involved in controversy in Iceland with the England national team. However, he now looks to be full of confidence after scoring against Liverpool and will hope to replicate his heroics from the second half of last season to power Man United’s Premier League title charge.
