The Spaniard should’ve done better for 2 Everton goals on Saturday.
Solskjaer insists it’s important to have competition for places in the squad.
Speaking to the media about his starting XI after Saturday’s 3-3 draw with Everton, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said: “Every player has to earn the right to earn his place, of course.
“We’re a squad with competition and that applies to absolutely every single one in the team – and that is the same for every single one of us. We need to stop conceding easy goals.”
Gary Neville has criticised the Spaniard after the Old Trafford showdown, claiming that he should’ve been quicker in coming off the line for the Toffees’ third goal.
Dean Henderson will get a chance to stake his claim in the FA Cup against West Ham on Tuesday when he returns to goal at Old Trafford as the dedicated shot-stopper for cup competitions.
