- United can’t get the Fernandes deal over the line.
- The Red Devils can’t agree on the transfer fee with Sporting.
- The Portuguese side feel like the player is not pushing for a move.
Sporting Lisbon assistant manager insists Bruno Fernandes doesn’t appear to be desperate to seal a move to Man United this month.
Speaking about the player on Monday, Emanuel Ferro told A Bola: “There is a lot of talk about him [Bruno Fernandes] leaving.
“I believe that outside people feel this more than us. We don’t feel it, we don’t feel Bruno’s thinking about leaving, he is competitive and involved.”
The Red Devils are yet to agree on the transfer fee for the midfielder with Sporting despite the player being ‘desperate’ to move to Old Trafford.
The Portuguese side are demanding €60 million plus €10 million more in bonuses while United are prepared to offer €50 million plus possibly €20 million more.
