The Blaugrana have conceded at least a goal in 26 of their 36 games played this season.
What that shows is that Barca have only managed to keep 7 clean sheets this season; 4 of which came in La Liga. That’s not nearly enough.
Overall, Barca have conceded 43 goals so far – 9 in the Champions League, 27 in La Liga, 4 in Copa del Rey, 2 in the Super Copa and one in the Europa League.
Thus, while it made sense to sign 3 strikers in January, Barca also needed to take a long hard look at their defence.
