According to Esport3 (4 stars), Frenkie de Jong’s exit could open the door for Miralem Pjanic to continue at Barcelona.
As previously reported, Xavi was pleasantly surprised by the 32-year-old during the pre-season. The coach thinks that Pjanic would be able to help the team if he was to continue.
However, it is understood that Xavi’s priority, if Frenkie leaves, is to sign Bernardo Silva. The Portuguese could cost up to €100m, though.
