Ter Stegen says he’s proud of the team’s effort.
The goalkeeper claims that the important thing is to stay focused and strong in the next final.
“Final opponents? I don’t care who we face in the final, the important thing is we play with a lot of focus and strength,” Marc-Andre ter Stegen said after the Real Sociedad clash.
“I’m proud of this team, we made a lot of efforts we deserved the win. This is what I am always looking for, to be at my to help the team. We knew that the opponents will put a lot of pressure and they did that very well.”
Ter Stegen played a huge role in Barcelona’s win against La Real. The German produced several masterful saves in the regular time and then went on to save two penalties during the shoot-out.
In the Supercup final, which will be played on Sunday, January 17, the Catalans will play the winner of the Real Madrid vs Athletic Bilbao clash.
