The foolishness by the board at Barcelona continues once again
The board at Barcelona continue their foolishness after preparing another foolish swap deal with a Premier League club after the Arthur Melo swap deal with Juventus. The Brazilian midfielder of Barca played his final game yesterday after he was subbed on during the final few minutes of the fixture which ended as 2-2 draw in the Estadio Baliados.
Arthur Melo was subsequently then spotted flying to Italy and images have been leaked all over social media of the Brazilian footballer walking out of an airport in Italy and the player is expected to undergo his medical examination today at Juventus which would be followed by an official announcement by both the parties involved, according to Football Espana.
Miralem Pjanic is also expected to have his medical examination at Barca in the next few days which would be followed by his unveiling at the Camp Nou. The swap deal between both the clubs has only benefited the Italians since they have received a 23-year-old with immense potential in replacement for Miralem Pjanic who is 30-years-old and has entered the final few years of his career.
Barca have their next foolish swap deal prepared
Reports claim from Eldes marque claim, that Barcelona has agreed to offer Nelson Semedo and Philippe Coutinho for Tanguy Ndombele of Tottenham Hotspur. Although the French midfielder of the Premier League would be a massive addition in the midfielder for the Blaugrana, however, signing the player at the cost of Nelson Semedo is certainly not worth it since Barca do not have a potential replacement as of yet.
Tanguy Ndombele would offer a lot of versatility in the midfield along with explosiveness, however, the departure of Nelson Semedo would be an area of great concern since the club only has Sergi Roberto as a replacement. The Spaniard right-back is actually a midfielder who has been turned into a right-back and the last two seasons have shown why it is not the best option to play Roberto ahead of Semedo.
If Barca wants Ndombele this summer, the first step would be to sign a back-up for their Portuguese right-back before offering him and Coutinho in exchange for the Tottenham Hotspur’s midfielder who has fallen out with Jose Mourinho and is eager to leave England this summer.
However, it is certainly foolish to trust this board on whether they would sign a back up for Semedo before the planned swap deal. If Semedo does leave along with Coutinho for Tanguy Ndombele, who would you want to see at the Camp Nou to replace the former Benfica man?
