Tuchel says the team is ready to adapt their travel routine after their game against Atletico got moved to Romania.
The German points out that there is no doubt for reflecting on the decision.
Tuchel understands Atletico’s concerns about a lack of home tie but there was little that could be done about it.
“We have to play there so now it’s the moment to adapt our travel routine and our schedule, the day before and the day after, and to look for solutions,” Thomas Tuchel told reporters.
“There is no time for doubting the decision or reflecting on it. We saw it coming so now we will deal with the consequences and try to get the best result.’
“They don’t have the home advantage so I can understand their feeling But did I have anything to do with it? No. Was it our decision? No. From now on we can have no more reflections about that.
“We don’t doubt that they will be ready 100 percent in Bucharest to fight against us and it’s our duty to be ready to play them in 12 days.”
Chelsea are set to play Atletico Madrid in the Round of 16 of the Champions League in Romania as English clubs are not currently allowed into Spain due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
