San Lorenzo, their club’s vice president recently gave the forward a shirt of the club. He also says it would be “a dream” to have Suarez.
Has Suarez still got it? Check out his stunning volley against Inter:
The Uruguayan perfectly understands that Barca need to sing a younger striker to replace him.
“It’s normal. I said it a long time ago, there will come a time when my age will not allow me to live up to what Barcelona needs to compete. Here at Barca there’s an exam every 3 days. They don’t forgive you even for a bad game.
“The requirement of playing at Barcelona is immense, I always give 150% on the pitch. Competition would be good for me because it will demand more from me, it would be better for the club.”
Perhaps, Luis should start thinking about his future elsewhere. So far this season, Suarez has scored eight goals and provided one assist in 13 matches across all competitions.
