The 20-year-old has been given just over 300 minutes of playing time this season so far.
Nevertheless, Trincao ‘not thinking’ about leaving Camp Nou anytime soon.
“I’m not thinking about leaving, I’m happy to be here at the best club in the world,” Francisco Trincao told the pre-Ferencvaros presser on Tuesday, as quoted by Marca.
“This is a dream for me. I’ll stay, no doubt about it.
“With matches and confidence, I can perform like I did at Braga.
“Like all my teammates, I’d like to play every game. But, it’s the coach who decides. I work hard to be ready to play.”
The Portuguese, who moved to Barcelona in a €31m transfer from Braga this summer, has been given few opportunities by Ronald Koeman this season.
The 20-year-old has played a total of 344 minutes in 12 appearances for the Catalans across all competitions so far.
“It’s another game, so we want to win and take the three points,” Trincao added on the upcoming Champions League clash in Hungary.
“Scoring is an objective I have, but I work to contribute with goals, assists and whatever I can. I hope to score many in the future.”
