“We lost control for 10 minutes,” Thomas Tuchel told Sky Sports as he analysed the Brentford defeat.
“It was a tough start for us which is also not the first time after an international break. We were OK in the first half and had a very good start to the second half and took the lead.
“You don’t need to lose but my expectations were not too high. It’s difficult to play after the international break and play as the favourite. It makes things very difficult.”

This is the first game after the international break and many Blues players had just returned from their national teams. Long travel and fatigue may have affected their fitness and performance.
