The Red Devils are currently monitoring a lot of potential targets for the summer.
Man United are open on splurging a significant fee to sign a top centre-back or forward in the summer transfer window, as per Manchester Evening News.
However, the final decision will be made depending on how the rest of the campaign goes for United and which position needs improving the most.
It’s said that the Red Devils are monitoring multiple targets with a view on strengthening their central defence next season.
United are reportedly ready to make a move to sign RB Leipzig centre-back Dayot Upamecano in the summer, being big admirers of the Frenchman.
The Red Devils are also still ‘interested’ in signing Erling Haaland but friction with Mino Raiola can make it difficult to sign him.
After not making any signings in the January transfer window, Ed Woodward will perhaps be more focused on finalizing some big deals in the summer to help United challenge for the Premier League title next season.
