The Barca legend remains the key figure in Font’s presidential campaign.
Víctor has reiterated his desire to give a role to Xavi if he wins the upcoming election.
“If I win the elections and Xavi doesn’t come, I commit to paying for every socio’s season ticket out of my own pocket,” Barcelona presidential candidate Victor Font told La Sotana.
Xavi Hernandez has been the key figure in Font’s campaign. Victor is ready to replace Ronald Koeman with the Spaniard in the Camp Nou dugout immediately if he wins the upcoming election. Font is also considering Xavi’s appointment as Barca’s next sporting director.
The Barcelona legend, however, appears to be in no hurry to quit Qatar as he is ‘happy’ to stay at the helm of Al Sadd until 2022.
