Our user-admin Tushar Rhode joins editor Meghna to assess the players in the 0-0 draw.
Luke Shaw – 8/10
Meghna: “Showed urgency and contributed to both the attack and the defence. Let down by the overall poor performance though.”
Tushar: “Perhaps the only player who somewhat stood out in an even honors match. Did pose a threat on the left all the time, but struggled a bit against Pepe.”
Bruno Fernandes – 4/10
Meghna: “A poor performance from Bruno. He struggled to find the spaces to exploit and was lucky to not get punished for his challenge on Granit Xhaka.”
Aaron Wan-Bissaka – 7/10
Tushar: “Reckless in few tackles, but a great block on the Willian attempt.”
Meghna: “Not the best going forward but he made some good blocks and won several aerial duels too.”
Edinson Cavani – 6/10
Tushar: “Man oh man, got into stunning positions for those chances, but really really should have scored at least one, thus the critical rating.
Meghna: “Not much he could have done anyway. Missed a chance to score from a Shaw cross – the best chance of the game, in my opinion.”
Harry Maguire – 4/10
Tushar: “Guilty of leaving too much space for Pepe at least twice, could have been very costly.”
Meghna: “Looked static on many occasions – not his best performance for sure.”
The rest: De Gea – 6/10, Fred – 6/10, Pogba – 6/10, Lindelof – 7/10, Rashford – 5/10, McTominay – 4/10, Martial 5.5/10, Greenwood – 4/10.
