“Pedri? Teammates will see him as a support and a guarantee. He is a smart player,” Las Palmas manager Pepe Mel told Catalunya Radio.
“Yesterday [against Juventus], on the left, he played in the position he likes best. We will soon see him in the Spanish team.”
The 17-year-old completed his €5m move from Las Palmas to Barcelona in the summer. He’s played in each of the Catalans’ seven games this season, including his top-class performance in the 2-0 win over Juventus in the Champions League on Wednesday.
