Dani Ceballos has had a positive impact since arriving at the Emirates Stadium.
The Spanish midfielder arrived at Arsenal on a season long loan from Real Madrid in the summer, after struggling for game time under Zinedine Zidane.
Ceballos has started two of the four Premier League games for his new club so far this season, assisting both of Arsenal’s goals in his full debut against Burnley, where the Gunners won 2-1.
During the international break, Ceballos joined up with the Spanish national team, playing 76 minutes of the European qualifying victory over Romania. The midfielder again impressed playing on the wing for his nation, with statistics showing just how well he performed .
The performance didn’t go unnoticed by the Spanish media, who have heaped praise on the performance of the midfielder and are claiming that Real Madrid have made a massive mistake in letting him leave the club.
Here is a what Mundo Deportivo had to say following the Romania match.

“Dani Ceballos showed again yesterday that Zinedine Zidane makes a very serious mistake by not having him at Real Madrid.”
“Yesterday he formed on the left side of the Red’s attack, not as inside or midpoint, and from there he starred in numbers that speak for themselves: 5 key passes (more than any other player in the game), 95% of total success, 7 of 7 in long balls, 2 of 2 in completed dribbles and 3 fouls received including the penalty that Sergio Ramos subsequently opened the scoring.
“And speaking of numbers, it is worth mentioning that Ceballos played yesterday with 6 behind him. The 6 of Iniesta. Since Andres left the National Team, Saul , Inigo Martinez and Mario Hermoso had done it . But nobody with the magic that Ceballos put on yesterday , which is already more a reality than a promise. And that Zidane continues to forget about him is great news for Real Madrid’s rivals.”
