Several Manchester United fans on Twitter have been speaking about Mason Greenwood following a rumour that appeared on the social media platform.
Unverified profiles claim that the rape and assault charges against the 21-year-old striker have been dropped.
Some claim Greenwood will join the squad in our first pre-season clash against Liverpool in July.
These reports also suggest that Mason has been found innocent and may be absolved of all charges next week.
Greenwood has been suspended from action since his former partner Harriet Robson shared damning evidence of the Englishman raping and assaulting her.
That said, do bear in mind these reports are not from verified sources. So far, there has been nothing from reliable outlets to suggest this is even true.
