At the end of the 2021/22 season, Raphinha performed some special lap of honour with Leeds United.
After his side beat Brentford 2-1, the Brazilian – who scored the first goal – walked the full length of the Brentford pitch on his knees to celebrate the Premier League safety.

The player’s gesture could have some divine explanation too. In South America, it is common to do such things to repay god for granting a wish.
Leeds players were wildly celebrating the occasion. Raphinha was later spotted jubilating in the stands with a travelling crowd of Leeds fans.
