Early during the season, some Barca fans joked that Xavi would’ve still been the best midfielder at Blaugrana – even at 41. With players like Pedri and Gavi on the team, however, it would’ve been complicated for him to make the starting eleven!
Anyway, Dani Alves proves one could be a solid asset to the team in his age. So if Xavi decides to play again one day, he is welcome to do it!
