McTominay netted the only goal of the game.
The midfielder played as a forward when he was young.
He’s a good striker and a clinical finisher, says Ole.
“Scott [McTominay] has really, really developed that part of his game this season,” Ole Gunnar Solskjaer told the media after Manchester United beat West Ham 1-0 in the FA Cup.
“Of course we let him go into the box more often, unleash him. You see that he doesn’t mind being in those positions. He’s a very good striker of the ball and a very clinical finisher.
“As he was a forward or a striker in his younger days, you can see his authority when he gets a chance to finish.”
McTominay scored the only goal of the game, thanks to an assist from Marcus Rashford. The Red Devils have qualified for the quarter-final and our opponents will be revealed by Thursday (tomorrow).
