The Premier League players were asked to maintain social distancing during goal celebrations.
Man United, however, weren’t quite following the rules after Pogba’s winner vs Burnley.
He agrees, however, that it should change for the safety of the players.
“You find another way, you find another way to celebrate, to be happy,” Paul Pogba told Sky Sports when asked about new Premier League protocols that recommend players to maintain social distancing during goal celebrations.
“But the most important thing is the result. Obviously, there are rules and we have to respect that for the safety of everyone.
“That’s not the problem, as long as everyone is safe, that is the most important thing,” the Frenchman added.
Truth be told, the Man United players were not exactly following the guidelines when they were celebrating Pogba’s winner in the Burnley game.
The Premier League clubs all got a letter in which they were urged to avoid ‘handshakes, high fives and hugs’ during goal celebrations.
