Joe Biden, the Vice President of the United States, stated on Tuesday that there is a need to confront the concerns that artificial intelligence poses to both the nation’s security and the economy, and he added that he will seek the counsel of experts concerning AI’s security and economic threats.
At a recent presentation in San Francisco, Vice President Joe Biden stated that the United States government is “committed to safeguarding the rights and safety of Americans while protecting their privacy, to addressing bias and misinformation, and to making sure that AI systems are safe before they are released.”
